About The Company
Nature Trail, Group of Companies has been leading the way in the travel trade sector providing both leisure and adventure activities in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and India for more than a decade. We organize Tours and trekking for groups as well as individual travelers. We cater to all age groups and tailor make programs and packages to suit the individual’s interest, physical fitness and budget aspects. Our large volume of clients is forever expanding as trekkers, travelers or rafters return with grand tales of exploration of the Himalayas, and thus take pride in our record of “return business” and the many referrals that we enjoy from satisfied travelers we have served.
We have the honor of being the first Travel/Trekking Company in Nepal to receive the Certificate of Registration – ISO 9001:2000 in recognition of the Company’s Quality System. We are a member of the responsible tourism as well as some of other most prestigious associations like the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP), Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA), Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) etc.
Since inception, our company has been striving to open remote areas of Nepal with a vigilant eye to avoid any disturbance to the local ecology or way of life. We pioneered the first commercial ascents in the “wild routes” to the far West and East of Nepal, and also specialized in trekking to virgin areas with formidable games and nature watching experiences that till then were inaccessible to the tourists.
As a member of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN), we aim at promoting tourism that is environmental, cultural, traditional friendly and give utmost attention to the comforts and safety of our clients.
Our staffs are experts in their field and some of them have been in the tourism field for over twenty - three years.
We are also committed to being one of the leading sources of Asian travel experiences and related products, information and services. Our mission is to offer traveler unforgettable travel experiences through our wide range of selective, high quality, value of money packages. Superior customer care is our highest priority - from the products offered, to the traveler care provided before, during and after the trip.
For your kind information, we deal with chains of organizations and can arrange any travel related services including different classes of hotels, all-simple to exclusive vehicles, tour guides and team of professionals to handle all kinds of Tours, treks, expeditions or any other tourist related (travel / adventure) activities in the above mentioned destinations. We also have very close relationship with Domestic and International Carriers and have very special deals with all the major tourism components.

The Way We Lead
As a truly Nepali owned conscientious company, we believe culture should be a way of life and not an industry. So, we have set, maintained and continued to build high standards whilst ensuring that those working with us in whatever capacity are happy and well paid.
We have never believed in waxing too lyrical about our past achievements. We simply see ourselves as an efficient organizer of eco-Tours which are without doubt one of the most stunning, diverse and beautiful places on earth.
The tourism boom in Nepal, as in other countries, has had a mixed blessing. It has generated a sizeable share of Nepal’s foreign currency revenue but few people in tourist destinations have experienced an improvement in their standard of living. In fact, for many communities, influx of visitors has come at a considerable cost.
In numerous places, trekking groups have left littered trails and degraded forest in their wake. Against this alarming backdrop, the practice of ecologically friendly-tourism has been gaining increased momentum – both in Nepal and around the World. Our approach to tourism seeks not only to preserve environment and culture of tourist destination but also to benefit the local population by fostering environmental awareness among both locals and visitors. By linking tourism to social and economic development, it is possible to preserve natural and cultural heritage of an area through promotion of sustainable tourism. This not only enhances positive experiences of those on holiday but also helps to raise the living standard of the local residents. As such lots have been said about environmentally friendly tourism and no doubt more will be said without hesitation, that we along with few other trekking companies in Nepal have led the way of responsible Tours in our country.
In addition to our trekking itineraries, we organize cultural Tours and village to village walks which are less strenuous but equally rewarding. We provide the opportunity to visit remote villages where you can spend more time in a particular destination allowing more intimate glimpses into traditional village life. Generally the Village people are exceedingly friendly. They welcome you with their hearts and smiles and are always happy to share their music and dance for no reason at all. The exchange is reciprocal and villagers will often request our clients to join in with their own songs and dances for the benefit of all.
One of the examples of village tourism is Sirubari village which is inhabited by the Gurung community situated south of Pokhara at an altitude of 1700m. It is further three hours from the main trekking trails and offers excellent views of the Himalayan Peaks, including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. One of the interesting aspects of visiting Sirubari is the opportunity of staying in the local’s houses as “Paying Guests”. The accommodation is simple but comfortable with good bedding and clean toilet facilities. The food is delicious and you will be eating as one of the family. Each night there will be entertainment provided by the community. This will be in the form of traditional Gurung and Nepali dancing and singing you can join in if you like!
During your stay you will be able to feel what it is like to live the life of a Nepali villager. Walk with your family while they go about their daily chores, tending animals, tilling the fields, going to school with the children, or just sitting in the sun talking with your neighbours. The climate is ideal at any time during the September to June season with warm days and cool nights. Sirubari has established itself as a model village and has won the PATA-Gold Award 2001 in the Heritage & Culture – Heritage category. Our packages are specifically designed to ensure that supplies are secured in the village communities we visit. This way we are able to support the preservation of the heritage and Nepalese culture while improving the living standards of the people.
