TOUR DETAILS
Day 01: Arrival Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. After your overseas flight, relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening.
Day 02: Beijing
Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square - the largest and most imposing public square in the world. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperor, twice each year, would visit to thank the Gods for a good harvest and pray for the new one. To perfect a memorable start to your tour, you will have Beijing Duck Dinner at the famous century-old Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. More than 2,500 years old, this fortification was constructed to protect China from the savage Northern tribes. After your historic visit to the Great Wall, you will visit Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs - the burial site of the royalty during the Ming Dynasty. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way, an avenue where large animal statues stand guard. (B, L)
Day 04: Beijing - Xi'an
This morning you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in the world. Later in the afternoon, take the soft sleeper train to Xi'an - the ancient capital of China for 11 dynasties. (B, L)
Day 05: Xi'an
Upon morning arrival, you will be met at the railway station. The day's schedule is a visit to the ancient City Wall and the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, a treasure house which holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles of different periods, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Tonight you will feast at a special Chinese Dumpling Dinner Banquet. (B, L, D)
Day 06: Xi'an
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. The museum is home to an entire army of life-sized clay soldiers buried centuries ago to guard the underground tomb of China's first emperor - Qin Shihuang. After this you will be transferred back to the city where you will visit the Provincial History Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you will feast at a special Chinese Dumpling Dinner Banquet. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Xi'an - Jinan
Today before you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Jinan, you will be driven to a thriving Muslim Quarter to see the Great Mosque. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Jinan. (B, L)
Day 08: Jinan
It is said that "the springs of Ji'nan are the finest under heaven." Today you will have chance to appreciate the beauty of the Baotu Spring and the spectacular Daming Lake. Then you will head over to visit the Thousand Buddhas Mountain, a famous Buddhist resort. (B, L)
Day 09: Jinan - Tai'an
Tai'an is the gateway to Mt. Taishan. You will travel to Tai'an today. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. You will then visit the most revered mountain in China. You can climb Mt. Taishan by cable car, which offers you a wide range of natural scenery and ancient structures. Along the way back, take a visit to the Daimiao Temple, the largest and most completed ancient building complex of the Mt. Taishan. (B, L)
Day 10: Tai'an - Qufu
Today you will head over to Qufu - the hometown of Confucius. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. You will then visit the Confucius Mansion, Confucius Temple and Confucius Forest, which are representative places of the many ancient relics that made this small historical town become more famous. Day 11: Qufu - Suzhou
After breakfast at hotel, return to Jinan by car and then take a soft seat train to the garden city - Suzhou, "Venice of the East". Check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B, L)
Day 12: Suzhou
The Humble Administrator's Garden is Suzhou's largest private imperial garden. It is a fusion of nature, architecture and poetry. You will have all morning to enjoy it. After lunch, take a visit to the Garden of the Master of the Nets and the Lingering Garden. (B, L)
Day 13: Suzhou - Shanghai
A one-hour train ride will take you to Shanghai. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. The remaining time is reserved for you to enjoy the magnificent views of the Bund and its European architecture. A visit to the Yuyuan Garden will be followed before you are treated to a magnificent Portman Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B, L, D)
Day 14: Shanghai - Guilin
You must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor. At the Shanghai Museum, you will see first hand beauty. The museum's displays show Chinese art from ceramics to jade to furniture. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in this romantic and beautiful city and then take a visit to the brilliant illuminated Reed Flute Cave. (B, L)
Day 15: Guilin - Longsheng - Guilin
Today you will travel north to Longsheng where you will be treated to some of the most beautiful Terraced Rice Fields in China. Energy permitting, you may want to climb up the lush hills and get a bird's eye view of the area. Then you will head to a Yao Ethnic Minority Village to appreciate the local culture. The Suspension Bridge will be the last stop before you are driven back to Guilin.

Day 16: Guilin - Yangshuo
Depart your hotel in the morning. Upon arrival at the Zhujiang Dock, board your ship and start cruising on the picturesque and resplendent Li River. Lunch will be served on board. Then disembark your ship when arriving in Yangshuo and check in at a three-star Paradise Resort Hotel. (B, L)
Day 17: Yangshuo
We intend to leave the day for free leisure on your own. You will feel totally relaxed while strolling across the famous West Street (Xijie), where you could sip and taste tea in a sidewalk café, or purchase souvenirs for your friends and families. For option, you could rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill and the tall Banyan Tree. (B)
Day 18: Guilin - Guangzhou
After breakfast at hotel return to Guilin by car. You will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Fubo Hill, each of which commands a breathtaking view. With the tour ending, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guangzhou. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B, L)
Day 19: Guangzhou - Hong Kong
Guangzhou, the Spring City, aptly named because the weather allows for year round flowers and plants. You will visit the Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial, presently a key venue for the city's large-scale meetings and performances, and then head over to the Yuexiu Park to visit the Five-Ram Statue and appreciate the architecture of the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family. Later in the day, take the express train to Hong Kong. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B, L)
Day 20: Hong Kong
In the morning have a half-day Hong Kong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market. After lunch you will be transferred to Pier for taking Star Ferry to Kowloon side, walk along the waterfront and promenade back to hotel. Remain afternoon free for your shopping time. (B, L)
Day 21: Farewell Hong Kong
Upon completion of you memorable China tour, today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. (B)
