A
Full days sightseeing of Thimpu:
a.m.-visit Zeleukha Nunnery, the National Library and the Memorial Chorten
of His Late Majesty Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk. p.m. A visit to the Handicraft
Development Corporation which displays a variety of Bhutanese handicrafts.

Thimpu-Paro
(65 kms. / 2hrs.)
a.m.-After breakfast a leisurely drive to Paro.
p.m.- Drive through the Paro Valley to visit Drukgyel Dzong Kyichu
Lhakhang. On a clear day the beautiful Jhomolhari ( known as The Mountain
of the Goddess 7314m.)) is evident. we visit the National Museum Located
in the Ta Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and
weapons.
Your senses will awake upon entering the
impressive courtyard of the Punakha Dzong; " Palace of Great
Happiness ". The Dzong lies between two rivers, the Pochu and
Mochu, male and female rivers.
