During this flight, one will experience breathtaking views of Mount Everest, KanchanJunga and other Himalayan Peaks including sacred Chomolhariand Mt Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by a representative of Tours & Trek Ltd. then drive to Olathang Hotel throough Paro valley is enchanting. After lunch you will be taken to Ta-Dzong (Museum ). Overnight at Olathang Hotel.
DAY 02. Paro –Sightseeing
Drive winding road northwest up the Pa Chu to Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined Fort, which once defended this valley from the Tibetan invasion. This fortress, now a burned shell, was once strategic in Bhutan;s defense against the Tibetan invasion. Mount Chomolhari, the sacred summit, reaches skyward beyond the Dzong. This can be viewed on a clear day. On the way back you visit a typical Bhutanese farm house. After lunch walk up the hill just above Olathang hotel to stretch your legs for the excursion to Taktsang Monastery view point can be arranged.
DAY 03. Paro – Chonana
Alt. 3500m. distance 14Kms. Start trekking from Olathang Hotel. Most of the days walk is a gradual climb through Bhutanese farm houses. The view of Paro valley from the trail is excellent. Overnight in the Tent in Chonana.
DAY 04. Chonana – Jebkarpo
Distance 16Kms. Uphill for about 5 hours taking it slowly and allowing for plenty of stops. The trail take you through aforest filled with many species of Primula and Rhododendrons, from the pass and the trail along the ridge of chilila the Himalayan range of Bhutan can also be seen. Overnight in Tent.
DAY 05, Jebkarpo – Lower Mingula
Distance 15 Kms. Alt. 3845m. Today is a day to be up early. The early morning views from camp of Chomolhari"Divine mountain of Goddess"Tserim Kang. Glacier of long life. And Jichu Drake are stunning. The trail follows the ridge and besides the view of the mountains you can also see the valley of Paro and Haa. Overnight in Tent.
DAY 06. Lower Mingula –Thong
Distance 16Kms Alt. 3940. Another day with excellent view of mountains and valleys. On this route it is very common to see yak herders, Overnight in Tent.
DAY 07 Thong – Thimphu
Distance 16Kms. Descend back to Paro valley. The trek ends at Drukgydl Dzong. Drive to Olathang Hotel. After lunch drive to Thimphu. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 08. Thimphu – Sightseeing
A full day of sightseeing and shopping in Thimphu. Wander in the town, visit the handicrafts emporium. Visit the workshop where all the handicrafts are produced if you like. Afternoon visit Tashichho-Dzong and Memorial Chorten. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 09. Thimphu – Punakha / Wangdi &back
Excursion with pack lunch to Punakha and Wangdi valley. Visit Punakha Dzong when the monks are jin Thimphu. Drive back to Thimphu and overnight at Motithang Hotel.
DAY 10 Thimphu – Paro Airport
Drive to Paro International Airport for onward flight.

Happiness ". The Dzong lies between two rivers, the Pochu and
Mochu, male and female rivers.
