Nepal is among the countries that suffer the most from climate change. The unpredictable and dramatically changing weather conditions have negative impacts on the natural environment in the mountain regions and the people living in the villages. To maintain the Himalaya’s beauty and ensure that future generations can enjoy the mountains just as we do right now, we must minimize our footprint.
From most countries there is no other way to reach Nepal than by plane. Luckily, there are ways make up for the pollution caused by flying. Nature Trail’s initiative HECAC.org, nepalecoclub.org, engages in development projects that benefit Nepal’s environment, e.g. tree planting, and local communities.
