Buddhist Circuit Tour in Nepal

Welcome Pickup from the Tribhuvan international airport and drop to the hotel. Rest and overnight in the same hotel.

After breakfast meet with the local guide and drive towards Dhulikhel and start hike towards Namobuddha sometime ascend and descends for about 3 hours. On the way, you will be able to enjoy the local lifestyle, farmland, typical Nepali community. For one hour, the road is bit rough road. Once you reach to the Monastery, enjoy the beautifully decorated monastery spread in big area and the spectacular mountain range.
According to the old legend, 6000 years ago, prince (Mahasatwo/Ngingdui Tshenpo), at the top of the hill, looking the jungle, discovers a tigress lying near the rock. Very quickly, he realizes that the tigress was about to die due to hunger with her five little babies still sucking milk from her, survivals of the babies depend on their mother. Mahasatwo, decides to give his life to the tigress in a bust of love and compassion. So, Prince Mahasatwo cuts his body to present his warm blood in the mouth of the mother tiger, and the taste of blood gives the appetite to the starving family. As the tigress accepts the sacrifice from prince she leaves only the bones. The bones of prince were brought back in the village and buried in the tomb which is actual stupa of Namo Buddha. Some about 3500 years later, the Gautam Buddha came in the village of Sange da Fyafulsa, He conducts 3 tour around the Stupa before he declared that he was the reincarnation of prince Mahasatwo. It was the moment that Gautam Buddha renamed this village which is hence called the name of Namo Buddha which means Hommage to Buddha. Drive Back to Kathmandu in the Private vehicle.

Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley include the religious Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest sacred Hindu temple, temple of Lord Shiva, located on the bank of Bagmati river. Boudhanath, Buddhist stupa, one of the largest stupa in the world is also the UNESCO world heritage site. Kathmandu Durbar square another UNESCO world heritage site is the royal palace of the ancient king, which offer the chance to see the living goddess Kumari all these sites have both high level of historic, cultural as well as religious importance. Lunch in Between

After breakfast drive towards the domestic airport fly to Bhairawa (45 Minutes flight). Pick up and drop to hotel. relax for few hour. This sacred place is the birth place of Gautam Buddha known as Lumbini. It is located in southern Nepal. The widely-spread garden has many monasteries built by different countries like china, Japan, Myanmar, Germany and Sri lanka. you can enjoy the architecture and prayer area. After the sightseeing, you can walk around the peaceful garden and sit for the meditation. The main point for Pilgrims is a Sandstone carving portraying the birth of the Buddha, reputedly left here by the Malla King Ripu Malla, in the 14th century, when Mayadevi was worshipped as an incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess. Another main attraction is the Ashokan Pillar, which was built by the great Indian Emperor Ashoka while visiting the birthplace of Buddha back in 249 BC.

After breakfast roam around the local market of Lumbini or Local village to know about the lifestyle and looking at the flight time, drive toward the Bhairawa airport. After 45 minutes’ flight.
Pickup from the domestic airport in Kathmandu and drive towards hotel and overnight rest and relax in the hotel.

This day after lunch in the afternoon, we drive towards Kopan Monastery which is also one of the Buddhist popular monastery built in Tibetan tradition in the hill top. It depend on where you stay, if your hotel in Thamel area, it takes about 1 hour drive to get there. It is beautiful monastery and you may spend some time in the peace full garden observing inside of the monastery. Prayer are perform in the early morning or in the later afternoon. Wait until the prayer are performed and participate the monastery, you can sit for some while in the monastery for meditation and drive back to Kathmandu

This day you will be driving to Buddhist meditation center and spending your time with the guided meditation will continue now at 10 am and will be followed by a Dharma talk immediately following at 11 am. Our focus will be an introduction to the basic concepts and teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, with plenty of time for discussion and Q&A., enjoying a cup of tea, and learn something about the basics of the Dharma.
Meditation and talks will be lead by either an ordained sangha member or an experienced Western student.

A representative of Nature Trail will come to your hotel, 3 hours prior to your flight time. And he or she will transfer to the international airport, and you fly to your final destination/home.
