Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport

Upon arrival on Kathmandu, Nature Trail representative will receive you and transfer you to the Hotel. Later Nature Trail tour manager will brief you about your upcoming Makalu Barun Valley trekking and will introduce trekking guide and his team. Kathmandu Sightseeing

This full day sightseeing trip will combine various monuments, cultural and Heritage site within the valley- Boudhanath an Buddhist stupa, Pashupatinath an Hindu Temple, Swoyambunath, and more places if time allow.

Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (510m.) takes about 45 minutes.

Today, after having breakfast, one of our Nature Trail driver we will drive you airport and you will check in together with our trekking guide to domestic terminal for taking the accessible morning flight to Tumlingtar from Kathmandu. We will remain overnight in Tumlingtar. You do lots of packing and some final shopping.

Trek from Tumlingtar to Khandbari (1020m) 2 to 3 hours

From Tumlingtar, we stroll to Kumhalgaon and take after the trail that goes toward the east. This will be the last day of genuine trekking today. We will trek back to Tumlingtar from

Makalu-Barun Valley Trekking in Nepal : Are there lodges available?

There are few guest good tea houses facilities that you could passed by during your trekking, however there are not all the place for the full tea-houses trekking. so, all Nature Trail’s trekking packages are organism based on fully catered camping packages basis.

It is also great fun to do camping trek. As this unique landscape, shelters some of the last pristine mountain ecosystems on the earth and it’s the home of over 3000 species of flowering plants, 75 species of mammals, and 440 species of birds including the endangered Clouded Leopard, Musk Deer and Red Pandas, a great way to camp on open air and learn their behaviors closely.

And Nature Trail believed this “remarkable biodiversity is considered to be of global significance” and need to be protected. Nature Trail organize and make sure that we return all our waste and inorganic garbage back to Katmandu and hand over to respected authorities.
