Annapurna Circuit Trekking is longest trekking route of the Annapurna Region. Overall, the Annapurna Circuit is considered to be the classic trek in Nepal to experience the vast biodiversity and cultural heritage Nepal is renowned for.

The word Annapurna is a Sanskrit name which literally means “full of food” but is normally translated as “Goddess of the Harvests”. The Annapurna region, is a majestic section of the Himalayas in Nepal.

The Annapurna Region was inscribed as a ‘Conservation Area’ in 1986. The protected region covers an area of 7600 sq. km. around two thirds of hikers visiting Nepal head to the Annapurna Region every year. The Royal Trek Annapurna Skyline Trekking is an easy, short trek from Pokhara and offers stunning mountains views. It gained its name because Prince Charles and an entourage of 90 guests took this route to discover the Annapurna region back in the 80’s .

This trek isn’t known as Royal Skyline Annapurna Trekking for nothing! Besides mountain views and cultural experiences, this routes also takes you along beautiful paddy fields (rice terraces), local vegetable farming, a Rhododendron forest, Sal Tree forest, and many more types of local plants, flowers and vegetation.

6. Karbakeli Eco Trekking in Nepal (#10)

Karbakeli Eco trek is a new trekking route which connects Poonhill, Phulbari and Karbakeli with Beni Bazaar, the headquarters of the Myagdi district. This trekking route is explored on April 2018 with the cooperation of Concept Nepal (Kathmandu) by Karbakeli Conservation Committee located at Annapurna Rural Municipality -8, Myagdi.

From this trekking route, Gurja Mountain to Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan Series can be seen. Also biological diversity is found with the taste of art and culture of the poon community. One can travel the Karbakeli area enjoying the rural lifestyle.

Day 01: Pokhara – Birethanti : 2 hrs drive and  Birethanti – Ulleri : 5 hrs Trek
Day 02: Ulleri – Ghorepani : 5 hrs Trek
Day 03: Ghorepani – Poonhill –Phulbari – Karbakeli Than : 5 hrs Trek

8. Manaslu Circuit Trekking (#6)

Manaslu Circuit Trekking is one of the best trekking routes in Nepal for off the beaten path exploring. In fact, Mount Manaslu reaches an altitude of 8163m, which makes it the 8th highest mountain in the world. The Manaslu Circuit Trekking will lead us to the Manaslu Base Camp, used as starting and end point for climbing expeditions to Mount Manaslu. As many other high mountains, it is located near to the Nepal-Tibet border. The biggest challenge, but also the biggest achievement of this trek is crossing the well known Larke Pass, or Larkya La.
